The katana is great, and it looks exactly like the picture. The only defect is it is slightly bent to the left. Also, it's amazing for decoration or serious collectors.

This is my first katana and I ordered one on sale for like 199.00 so I understand it won't be the best quality. as soon as I pulled it out the box i gave it one or two good swings and the bottom piece slipped off. after a closer inspection I realized the string used to wrap the handle was poorly wrapped I've gone to YouTube to just re do it myself it's not too hard . Either then that the rest of the blade is beautiful and perfect.
(It's probably my fault for swinging the sword but come on who wouldn't.
