It is a gorgeous blade everything about it is beautiful only thing is the tsuba is very loose i took apart tried fixing but still gets loose when you pull out out of the sheath. The wakazoshi seems pretty well made. Blade is incredibly sharp and aesthetically it is a beautiful piece. I have 2 grips with it. 1. The Kashira is loose already. Which means if it’s used as intended the tsuka ito will become loose and unwrap. 2. I wish they offered a real ray or shark skin Ho cover. Other than that for the price it is perfect. That is the only reason I did not give 5 stars. For most this would be perfect for display.

The only drawbacks are...
A slight nick, on the spine near the Tsuba.
And the blade was not wrapped. So I oiled the blade straight away.
With the niggles over with.
The blade is gorgeous. As are the Tsuba, saya, sageo, tsuka, and cord wrap. Can never recall the Japanese term.
It looks tan in the picture. It's actually a beautiful gold cord.
The suprise is how light this one is. The blood gutters really put what little weight there is very close to your hand. Maybe 4 inches forward of the Tsuba.
This blade is so delightfully light I could duel wield a pair like Inosuke Hashibira! 👍
But of course I've already dinged up the saya.
