The blade width (not the length or the thickness of blade!) was a little smaller than expected, but it was a small detail. The only negative comment I can have is the end of the handle, where the cap was put on. The cord started coming of, and I ended up having to secure it with ugly knots and melting the cord so it didn't come undone. If you practice with swords like I do, then you may want to get a sword that can handle more use. Perfect for display, and definitely battle ready, just not for extended practice with said sword.
