Made !! I will buy from Again !!
Great quality and completely obsessed with it!!
My Tanto sward arrived quickly. It was packed properly and arrived in excellent condition. It is beautifully crafted and razor sharp. The wooden handle and sheath matches perfectly and is a thing of beauty. It is a great addition to my collection. I am extremely pleased with my purchase. Ralph N.
Amazing piece of art actually feels like a collective item made with bamboo wood and weight shifts properly. Grip on the handle is just right and the blade’s pretty sharp. Buy it with you eyes close. Ture TANTO
The tanto arrived in perfect condition with no major cosmetic flaws that I can see. The saya did have a bit of oil on the end that made it darker in that area but I was able to use a little rubbing alcohol to get rid of it. Now it's uniform and perfect. The wood finish is really good. Smooth with no rough spots or gouges. I don't see or feel any burrs on the blade that came generously oiled wrapped in plastic.
I removed one star because I wouldn't consider the blade "razor sharp". I've only tried it on a cardboard box so far and it did cut it with little force, but not as well as a much cheaper katana I've had since I was a kid. It could be sharper and I'll be looking into having that done. I'm also not a fan of having the company name in big bold letters on the shipping box that pretty much tells the world what's inside.
Overall I'm impressed with the weight and design of the sword. It's my first tanto and shirasaya and I plan on getting more in other styles. I also ordered its wakizashi and katana big brothers to complete the set.

Exactly what the advertised. Really loving the product can’t wait to by again.
Fast shipping and just as described... would order from again.
As good as described.
Great quality! A
Unfortunately the Sheath is cracked at the bottom from shipping. Besides that I love the blade very sharp and makes for nice decoration
Overall I'm happy with this tanto. The blade is extremely robust and the finish is generally excellent. My one complaint is with the saya. As received, the habaki would barely fit into the saya, and required a good hour of careful sanding and filing before it would fit correctly and smoothly.
Sorry I dont have a picture, it is already wrapped and under the tree for Christmas. I am very pleased. The tanto knife is very high quality and well made. I was so worried it would not make it here in time, and it was not expected to, but it arrived early and I am very pleased.
I will definitely purchase from here again, as well as recommend to all persons I know interested in purchasing a greatly great weapon.
Thank you
Very nice blade, beautiful harmony and real fast delivery.
Great product
Fast delivery
I am 100% satisfied with both of my swords. I was well pleased with the shipping and the condition and sharpness of my swords. Both had very little burrs on the edges which was super easy to correct.
Thank you a thousand times.
Good packaging; good shipping time! Everything looks as previously advertised!
Initial impression: longer than I expected, and an impressive weight to it. The saya seems to be made of quality material, appears to be natural wood with noticeable imperfections. It feels smooth and lacquered, some slight oil stains near where the handle meets the saya from the blade oil. The habaki is a beautiful design and seems well constructed. The blade itself is highly impressive, though not flawless. The hamon is well defined and really speaks to the overall beauty of the piece. The blade is well polished, not a mirror sheen, but that’s not a bad thing in my opinion. I noticed some extremely small nicks on the blade edge, but we’re talking almost beyond visible to the naked eye, I can only catch them in the gleam of direct light. Most of my cheaper Japanese blades have difficulty staying in the scabbard, either scratching away at the inside from a poor fit, or so loose they will fall out if tilted. This piece has what appears to be some synthetic material lining the inside of the saya as well as covering the wood at the top of the opening, creating a snug, but not overly tight seal.
Overall this is an EXTREMELY impressive piece for the price point. I’ve had full katanas twice this cost that were a quarter of the quality. I’d recommend this particular item to anyone who has a fondness for the art of Japanese forged weaponry.
