Exactly as ordered, no wobble or looseness anywhere. Sharp right out of the box. Saya has a friction fit and I worry it may wear out but aside from that small issue it is perfect.

I purchased 5 katana from 5 separate stores. This one had higher quality and tracking than all the others. The balance was good. The sword stays appropriately in the saya/sheath when turned upside down, and there is no rattle in the saya when you gently shake it.
The sword was able to handle tameshigiri on tatami goza without incident for a 1/4 sized, 1/2 sized, and full-sized roll. Other katana started to chip at the blade, had pulls in the tatami on their cuts, or simply couldn't properly slice.
The only downside is all others came with a bag, and this one did not, but as it is the one that will continue to be used, it is not much of a downside.

They look exactly like the show. Both the actual katana and the sword piece are wrapped. My delivery was handled with care through the whole shipping process, no scratches or scuffs on the products or the boxes they were shipped in. I ordered them and got them delivered all within a week. I got them as a Christmas present for my brother who’s on the verge of finishing One Piece. Hopefully he likes them as much as I do.

Wow, what can I say. I have had swords before, but this time I decided to take a chance with a slightly higher grade sword from a supplier (TrueKatana) I have not used before and without seeing it in person first. I will say that the risk paid off. This is one of the nicest swords I have held. The ad said genuine rayskin, it feels real and looks great, so I am impressed. While at this price point you should expect quality, sometimes it’s just nice to actually get the quality that you’re expecting. This is one beautiful sword you can see the blade tempering is very well done. I have not used it to cut mats yet, but so far this feels extremely durable and up to the task. This is my second sword order from TrueKatana (my Chinese sword just arrived as well) and so far, this relationship is a win! If you are unsure, try a sword at a lesser price point from them and see for yourself. Be sure you know what you are going to do with the sword before buying so you pick the correct metal and type and you can’t go wrong. So far they get a passing grade from me!

It would have been 5 stars just for the incredible value of the deal. But it stopped just short of perfection. When the delivery was left just barely inside of the fence, where any1 walking along the sidewalk could easily have taken it. I was not even informed that it was delivered. If I had not taken my dog out to the yard to go. I'd never known of the delivery. Secondly, I understand you get what you pay for. But the swords were not all I was lead to believe. The edges were kind of dull. The grip on 1 was very loose. I had to rewrap it myself. And 1 of the swords does not stay in the sheath. Kind of like the sword is too small for its sheath. Again, I get that you get what you pay for. And despite my complaints. The value I received was incredibly awesome. But I will have to really consider very carefully whether or not to order from TRUE KATANA again, in the future.

These swords are absolutely gorgeous. I was tossing up getting these for a while, and I am glad I finally did. They are beautiful and look great on display. My only drawback is two of the swords are rather difficult to unsheathe. I am not sure exactly why and the other two are perfect. I hope they match in time, but at the end of the day they are mostly for display so I do not mind terribly.

Beautiful piece. I actually thought my son was a little crazy for wanting one for Christmas but it is really a piece of art. From the blue flames on the blade, to the carved animals on the handle and pummel. It Is stunning.
