The blades look in great condition and feel sharp, the colors on the sheath look beautiful, the curve of the katana handle felt great when going through some test swings, and the balance point of the blade is near the handle making much nicer to swing.

The blades are beautiful, seem to be perfectly balanced as well. I have not yet been able to cut with the Katana yet, but I have a feeling it will perform satisfactorily, although it does need a little sharpening, and I do wish there was a Hamon, but you get what you pay for. Maybe next time i'll fork over a little more money and get a custom piece.

I was with the impression that the sword was sharp, razor sharp, but I ended up with a sword that is all I was looking for with exception to the sharpness. I will have to finish the job manually which will take away from the overall beauty of this Katana. Otherwise, this is great!
