This particular model is all but identical in color, style, handle bindings , and scabbard as the katana carried by one of his favorite characters on the anime series "One Piece". This katana is very well built. The bindings, handle, and hilt are super tight with no play or slack at all. The finish on the blade is excellent, also very sharp. The scabbard has a mirror finish and is well crafted. This piece totally exceeded our expectations in every way and we are very happy with it. We have not put it through it paces like they do on "Forged in Iron" (I'm sure it could hold its own) but then again we didn't purchase this to go into combat. This is one of those real cool, unique, forever pieces that a young man can hang onto through adulthood and know he has something awesome that most people don't. The price was a great value for a piece this nice and the shipping was on time as promised.
