The only complaint I have is that it was supposed to be razor sharp but it’s kinda dull. O and it was delivered to the wrong apartment luckily it was delivered to my brothers apartment. He lives in #2 and I live in #10 but it all worked out just fine. Overall the sword is a nice looking wall hanger. But I am concerned about the quality of materials used. They used plastic on certain parts of handle that should be metal and I think the hamon is faked with an acid etch and not a real one caused by differential hardening like they said. I also have no idea if this is real T10 the fake acid etch is concerning if it is because T10 needs a quality differential hardening to be the heat steel that it can be. For the price it’s at I would expect at least no plastic on the sword but at least it looks nice on a wall.

The sword came sooner than expected, around 5 days, pretty fast communication with support if i had questions, which i did. the sword is very sharp and came with a protective oil coating wrapped in plastic around the blade. looks great, just as advertised. my only complaint would be that drawing the sword from the scabbard leaves some wood particles on the blade. easily cleans off though, so not too big of a concern. overall, relatively cheap, good quality, great service. I would order from TrueKatana again. if you are someone looking into katanas but don’t really know where to go and don’t trust very many websites, TrueKatana is definitely a good place to buy from.

The blade is light and elegant and the pattern steel is stunning to look at everything is tight and flush and the cord on the Saya is two tone of a thick high quality, there is a slight difference in the grinds on the blade, but this is definitely one of my favorites.

The Saya has flawless paint and components, fits snug and flush, the katana seemed to have the slightest of a bend about 8 inches from the tip but this is spring steel so I'm not to concerned. It is easily wielded with one hand with great balance and because it's not my t10 work of art I plan on using it for practice cuting and dismantling eventually. The grip is tight with excellent finger grip. The hand guard is solid and tight.Just toothy sharp but I can remedy that. For the money it's an excellent sword.

I wish I had a picture to show how beautiful this katana is. I spent more on this one and the quality difference was immediately apparent when I pulled it from the Saya. The hamon is beautifully crafted and the blade is mirror polished with minimal scratches.The curve of the blade is extreme and awesome. It feels incredible and nimble in my hands. It is so far my centerpiece of my collection and although I know it would cut beautifully ,I don't want to damage this artwork. Ok with that being said the Saya was a disappointment, all the components of the Saya are great however the seam of one side was obviously apparent and had very rough edges along the seam almost sharp and the fit of the Saya is very tight which I'm not sure is a bad thing as long as it holds together. I'm very happy with quality and craftsmanship of this katana so I'm ok with the flaws in the saya but a little surprised it wasn't caught before shipping.
