THE QUALITY AND CRAFTSMANSHIP IS OUTSTANDING! My boyfriend, who knows a lot about weaponry and Japan and Japanese weaponry in particular, could not get over how amazing the craftsmanship was and how beautiful it was! He was also elated to find the hidden knife in the sheath! I would give this 6 starts if we were allowed to rate above 5 stars!

I recently started a collection of arms and armor from various regions. Bronze, Viking, European, Celtic an Asia. This has to be one of my favorite. I've always liked the Ko-katana style swords because they have a similar blade size as a wakizashi with the handle of a katana. The balance is perfect and it is gorgeous. The Saya is very clean and elegant. The blade is absolutely stunning.

Very beautiful piece of great quality. It was a gift for someone and the person is very happy. It came two weeks late, but I was in contact with the seller during that time. Their answer were fast and they were very helfull. I would by from them again without hesitation!

I love this sword - it is great for Tai Chi practice. I was also very happy with my experience with the seller, Truekatana. They even constructed it to be the shorter length I requested. I recommend them highly. For those using such a (smaller) sword for Tai Chi, keep in mind that the included tassel might be a little heavy for the balance to be precisely right. But that's easy enough to fix by substituting a lighter tassel. BTW, the scabbard is really gorgeous.

the tape used on the packaging has a strong chemical smell to it. otherwise, the item itself looks good and i am excited to give this to my boyfriend for his birthday.

I was looking for Tai Chi swords that were stiff, not flexible. Truekatana was able to make this sword to fit my needs. The swords are heavier than a flexible, thin bladed sword and have a very solid feel to them. They are an excellent quality for the price and I ended up buying 12 of them for my Tai Chi students and myself. I highly recommend this sword if you want to learn and practice with a sword that has a more realistic combat weight. Service was great and I received the swords within two weeks of ordering.
When I need more I will definitely reorder from Truekatana.

I ordered this over a month ago. It has still not arrived. This must have found a slower way to get over seas. I contacted the sales team no help. Tried to blame me. After 30 days I called the shipping company. They said it is on its way Monday. So we are now looking at 2 months since they said it was shipped. So this knife I can not review all I can review is how they will take your money and leave you to deal with it.
The knife did show today. The knife is great. It is sharp it is beautiful. The fault lies with the shipping.i moved the rating to 3 only because of shipping. Again the knife great. The shipping is the longest
This special order tanto has the tightest hada that you can find. It is very well made. I asked the smith to make it like a Jyo Jyo Saku example I found on-line, and he did. Well done.

Good quality especially for ?40 + ?20 shipping. Shipping was faster than I had expected and it looks and feels good, the only issue I have is that the scabbard doesn't feel the same quality as the tanto. Happy with my purchase and will be buying from them again
