The sword is pretty cool. Just bought it as decor for my room, nice and golden. Won't be cutting anything with it other than a house intruder.

I simply love this katana.
I was surprised at how very well made it was, the size, the weight, and the sharpness although I'll sharpen it more.
The tsuka is wrapped in leather very securely and it's comfortable. The length is great for a sword of this weight and length. The kashira is pretty sweet as is the habaki and there's no guard, which I personally like.
I like that the blade doesn't taper but remains fairly wide throughout, it cut easily right out of the box to which it was wrapped great protecting it in shipment. The scabbard is pretty nice, wood covered and securely stitched with a clear coat over it for protection.
Overall a really nice sword, I'll be using it on my book cover.
