Most impressive: Ship time was FAST. I live in Alaska, the end of the known world when it comes to getting anything delivered. So, I ordered on the 2nd of the month, and it arrived on the 6th. (Practically unheard of.) Anyway, about the sword...as for replicas, it hits right on the mark. The braiding on the handle and scabbard is perfect. The leather work on the outside of the scabbard is also high-quality, it's thick, and appears to have been expertly sewn. The quality of the blade and all its parts is also very good. Well balanced. Overall - I am very happy with the quality and manufacture of the sword! The shipping time to receive the product was outstanding, very quick!
The only issue I have is that the edge is not sharp and has some nicks in it. I am quite good at sharpening so I was able to remove nicks and fix this, but since the sword was advertised as hand sharpened I would have expected a better edge. For this reason I give only four stars.
