Awesome High Quality Sword for the money. Packaged very well and arrived on time. It's a Christmas present for my son so I only took it out of the box to inspect it. The handle and blade are both sealed in plastic so could not feel either one. I did see the blade has be wrapped in oil I was impressed by that. its accurate enough to the anime sword to be happy, would be cooler with the short chain on the hilt. sword is sharp and useful. unsure of characteristics regarding human targets of course, should be able to do water bottles and tatami just fine, and seems to be able to survive some hard knocks, but I have it mostly for decoration and the edge is a bonus

I bought this because it was almost identical to one I purchased on Amazon. But this one said it was Damascus. And I got it and the case seems to be better quality a lot thicker but the blade was shorter even though it said it was longer than my other one and the balance of the blade is far to the left. Instead of balancing out like my other one. I have heard a lot about true katana and assume that maybe you just have to have a high price one to have it balanced like my cheap Amazon one that honestly works amazing for $120 where this was supposed to be $200 normally but was on sale. Honestly I'm hoping the Damascus stays sharp but it didn't come very sharp so I might need to sharpen it and hopefully it will maintain the blade. I just hoped for more out of the price.
