If I could leave a 4 and a half star response, I would. The website may seem shaky but these blades I've adopted this month are beautiful. The website has outdated coupons but I was offered a discount on a blade I had in my cart for less than 2 days as well as a coupon for my last feedback review. I'd buy again one day.

This katana is now my favorite and I've bought over 7 from TK ,the reason is it's special blade geometry which makes it very light and fast with one hand. The hamon and polish are impeccable and the blade a beaty.The other reason is the fit and finish is flawless and especially love the fit of the Saya and its elegant silk string. Wanted to take this opportunity to recommend the t10 folded naginata's I've included, these have the same blade geometry as katana reviewed (which also makes them light)they are 1 3/8" tall the whole way through the blade(which is the same length)opposed to a 11/4" tapering to 1". These naginata's are bigger and badder ,you won't be sorry you picked one up.

I ordered a mid range priced katana just to see the quality. I just wanted to personally write the review. This katana is beautiful the inlays and the detail exceeded my expectations. The blade is just as beautiful as the sheath. I probably called it the wrong. I will definitely order more from there. The best place to buy a katana hands down.

So this was a good blade for the price. The sayia is loose but gorilla glue couldn't fix. As for the rest of the sword.
Hamon line isn't a real hammon for T10, but it is there'ish. It will cut but it being dojo ready without a bit of maintenance, it'll get there.

Authentic Japanese Katana Sword T10 Folded Clay Tempered Steel Real Hamon TK-JP-KT19135 . I am very pleased with the quality of this sword. Everything fits nice and tight, there is no blade rattle once in saya. The Tsuba (Guard) and Kashira (pommel) show no casting imperfections. The Tsuka ito (Cord Warp) is the best I have felt. All parts are of quality. Although I haven't used it Tameshigiri (test cutting), I expect the blade to perform well. Small negatives - first, be in no hurry to receive the sword...3.5 weeks for me. Second, the list of "Do not ...." with this sword seems excessive and sometimes humorous.
