When I decided to order from here , I was under the impression that I was ordering from the US. More specific, California. That's the location given on the website, but no it's not shipped from the US. Now, yes I bought a $139 dollar sword and hoped it'd be as nice as described but unfortunately, it wasn't. Te Tsuka - Ito was not wrapped properly, instead it was melted at the ends to hold it in place and the blade had obvious dimples in the metal. I'm not bashing truekatana, I'm just giving my accurate review.

The katana is fantastic, I love the weight and feel of it in every way. However the glue holding down a couple of the pieces wasn’t completely covering it so the pieces are now very loose and need to be reglued.
