An exquisite craftmanship, very sturdy, genuine materials and really beautiful.
Only one point of disappointment, and it is a major one for me;
like written in your description of this Tanto :
- "razors edge sharp"
- "battle-ready swords"
- "built for cutting" (?!)
- "extremely sharp hand honed edge".
I am afraid it is not true.
I own a Katana with those qualities and this Tanto is not near
to cut something at all. It is even dull at some points to say the truth.
....but 4 stars anyway because it is awesome for display.

Good quality budget sword. Only complaint is that the scabbard was a poor fit and was too loose; the sword wobbled around way too much inside the scabbard when sheathed.

The sword is beautiful. I bought two swords on Amazon and they both broke within a week. My son (who is into Katana Swords) was devastated. This sword is built so much better and it’s very sleek. He’s only 6 so he’s not allowed to touch it without Mommy or Daddy right next to him. I’m teaching him to respect the sword and to understand it’s a very powerful weapon. We love it. The only reason I have rated the sword as a four is because the scabbard was damaged during shipping. The rest of the sword is a beautiful piece of workmanship. We will be ordering more Katanas through Truekatana in the future. Hopefully they will arrive undamaged next time.
