One problem though, the handle has about a two crack and a hairline crack on the scabbard which I'm having repaired, a minor inconvenience considering the overall appearance is a real compliment and I understand things just happen, no negative reflection on your company, the item is a very beautiful piece and I'm very proud to own one. Great Katana! I recieved it quick. The sword itself has high quality and feels durable. While not deadly sharp it's still fairly sharp and can indeed hurt someone. I'll definitely be looking forward to buying more from this site.

Very nice and well made. The sword stays in its wooden sheath until you pull it out. This was a concern for me as
I had ordered the same style sword from another company and the wood was bass wood. It’s a soft wood, the sword falls out of its wooden sheath on its own!!
So I was quite impressed with the construction of this sword from True Katana. It was exactly what I was looking for.

The order arrived quickly. The weapon was beautiful. The scabbard holds the sword without slipping and the weight is just right. There was no rattle between the blade and the handle. I'm new to katana training, but even with my poor skill, I easily sliced through a water bottle. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

The sword is beautiful, love the blue blade and the design of the hilt and scabbard. It adds a modern touch to a classic style.

Well. It's a sword. And its sharp. Very freaking sharp. Cut myself the first day. On accident. The sword overall is very clean. And subtly eloquent from a distance. The details are very lacking. Closer inspection shows: chipped tip, sloppy oiling, what i can only hope isn't a horizontal stress fracture of the blade, a few blunted zone of the edge, two piece scabbard AND handle, non-removable handle pins (trust me i tried), shoddy carving of the initial opening of the sheathe (results in sword getting stuck on open and close, must be very specific on how you close it), as well as what i can only assume is either a water mark or a wood stain spot on the butt of the sheathe, the engraving is top notch, appearing to be engraved, not laser burned. Overall it's a 6/10. Good work sword.

I love the shirasaya I bought! I am not sure about the hardness of the steel because I didn’t try it but the overall quality is really impressive. It has only a decent sharpness but I intend to improve it anyway. Cool sword!

PS: not to forget to mention, it was shipped in record time, I was really impressed by that.

The package when it arived was damaged-falling apart.The tape barely held it together in the middle.When the UPS handed it to me he had to be careful not let it fall apart in his hands.He wondered if I was going to refuse the damaged box.I stated as long as the sword is undamaged Ill accept it.I immediately examined it expecting to see damage,got EXTREMELY lucky the sword was not damaged.I suggest you take greater care in the packaging of such a good sword.
