Authentic Japanese Katana Sword T10 Folded Clay Tempered Steel Real Hamon TK-JP-KT19135 . I am very pleased with the quality of this sword. Everything fits nice and tight, there is no blade rattle once in saya. The Tsuba (Guard) and Kashira (pommel) show no casting imperfections. The Tsuka ito (Cord Warp) is the best I have felt. All parts are of quality. Although I haven't used it Tameshigiri (test cutting), I expect the blade to perform well. Small negatives - first, be in no hurry to receive the sword...3.5 weeks for me. Second, the list of "Do not ...." with this sword seems excessive and sometimes humorous.

Excellent katana with great cutting sound through the air and good feel. Grip is perfectly sized for medium/large hands and blade/haman are flawless. Katana draws smoothly from the saya and presents with balance. Overall an excellent sword for the money. Happy with the purchase and quick delivery.

Have not tested it out, but out of the box it looks great, just like the pictures. Feels like excellent craftsmanship, the only reason why I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because there's about a 3 inch section of the blade that is not sharpened properly. Cuts paper decently well but when it hits the dull section it tears. Will have to touch it up on the wet stone. For the price it's a great katana especially if it's true t10 steel that's properly forged/hardened.

The sword lived up to its expectations. It’s a gift for my brother’s 40th birthday, so I can’t really show you a picture of me wielding it because it’s not mine. However, me and my father gave a sneak peek test run of the sword and it is damn good of a sword. Very sturdy and I like the fact that it has some weight to it. Wow, what can I say. I have had swords before, but this time I decided to take a chance with a slightly higher grade sword from a supplier (TrueKatana) I have not used before and without seeing it in person first. I will say that the risk paid off. This is one of the nicest swords I have held. The ad said genuine rayskin, it feels real and looks great, so I am impressed. While at this price point you should expect quality, sometimes it’s just nice to actually get the quality that you’re expecting. This is one beautiful sword you can see the blade tempering is very well done. I have not used it to cut mats yet, but so far this feels extremely durable and up to the task. This is my second sword order from TrueKatana (my Chinese sword just arrived as well) and so far, this relationship is a win! If you are unsure, try a sword at a lesser price point from them and see for yourself. Be sure you know what you are going to do with the sword before buying so you pick the correct metal and type and you can’t go wrong. So far they get a passing grade from me!

What can I say. I will start off by saying the sword is nice. What I expected. The sheath was broken when I received it. The shipping box looked OK. I tried getting hold of the company. They do not answer their phone. It is always busy. I have sent 4 emails. Still have not heard back. So the sword is Good. Their costumer service sucks. I was thinking of buying another sword but with their costumer service I probably will not order another one.

Great product it and finish work well done. Wrap was tight, and the blade was straight. I had a previous shipment where the guard was bent on one side but I took care of that in the vice. This is my 6th order from true katana. I wish the shipping was faster, but at this point I guess I'm glad I'm getting anything out of China.
