Great Katana! I recieved it quick. The sword itself has high quality and feels durable. While not deadly sharp it's still fairly sharp and can indeed hurt someone. I'll definitely be looking forward to buying more from this site.

I love this Sword. But I'm a little concerned. I'm having a difficult time initially releasing the blade from the scabbard. When I seat the sword fully into the scabbard it gets really stuck in there. I'm guessing it's a type of friction lock to keep the sword from accidentally coming out of the scabbard when used as a walking stick.
Is this the correct assumption?

Just got my ninjato yesterday, it’s good quality for the price.
The blade is sharp enough to do some damage but not the sharpest, could cut through paper but not too easily. I like how the scabbard fits tightly over the blade without falling off even when held upside down. The blade comes well oiled as the type of steel is prone to rusting, so best avoid touching the blade with bare hands.

Well. It's a sword. And its sharp. Very freaking sharp. Cut myself the first day. On accident. The sword overall is very clean. And subtly eloquent from a distance. The details are very lacking. Closer inspection shows: chipped tip, sloppy oiling, what i can only hope isn't a horizontal stress fracture of the blade, a few blunted zone of the edge, two piece scabbard AND handle, non-removable handle pins (trust me i tried), shoddy carving of the initial opening of the sheathe (results in sword getting stuck on open and close, must be very specific on how you close it), as well as what i can only assume is either a water mark or a wood stain spot on the butt of the sheathe, the engraving is top notch, appearing to be engraved, not laser burned. Overall it's a 6/10. Good work sword.

I love the shirasaya I bought! I am not sure about the hardness of the steel because I didn’t try it but the overall quality is really impressive. It has only a decent sharpness but I intend to improve it anyway. Cool sword!
PS: not to forget to mention, it was shipped in record time, I was really impressed by that.

Shipped in under a week, stabbed a few water bottles, flipped it around a bit. Well made, good looking, comfortably heavy sword. I was worried about the grip before I got it but it has enough friction to hold as steady as any other sword. Even relocated a spider with it (not sorry). The Sword came in earlier which is a great thing. And the whole sword itself is fantastic. The craftsmanship of the blade, the smoothness of the wood of the handle and sheath, and how careful the delivery was. I will admit I have to use a little force to open the sheath, but that ok cause it’ll prove to keep the blade heathy from rust. Overall, this sword is great, and I hope to see more future swords through this website.

I've had a few of these and TruKatana definitely has a better quality. Shipping was quick and sword was wrapped and oiled. Don't hesitate this is a perfect sword/cane blind fury. 🤘I've placed grip tape made for weaponry on handle and cover. It comes without.
