This is the second unit I purchased from TK ....the
sword is very hard to remove from the saya. The brass
fitting, once it goes into the saya, it becomes almost
imposible to remove without using a screwdriver and excert some torque to it.
Can you send me a UPS label to return and have it replaced..???

I got it on sale but some issues may indicate why it was on sale.
Cons:
Blade was bent and wavy ( not straight)

the grinds were a little heavy on some places showing little hot spots.

The Hamon was very prominent in photos but very faint in person.

Pros:
Blade is very sharp and although faint, the Hamon looks much better than a fake hamon.

Woodworking (and wood) vas very nice

Fitting was very nice and tight (handle ,and sword to sheath)

Overall it's ok for the "sale" price, but as is I would not pay full price again for the same piece that I recieved.

I am reviewing only 1 piece and this does not reflect True Katana's Overall product .

i like it. unfortunately, came with a slight dent in the blade... i will keep it anyways, for the price this is well-crafted enough... if i wanted it as a display piece the dent is not so noticeable either, but i will use it as a practice sword anyways... i am guessing this one might've been kept in storage for awhile here in the US, too, perhaps they lost track a bit of the condition after a certain period of time... (i ordered another one soon after this with t10, i like this damascus steel, but also curious about t10, still waiting on it.. so i hope the t10 will be freshly crafted and flawless)..
a good company overall, though.

Originally thought this could be a sketchy website but the swords came in 2 weeks like they said and were real steel. They weren't as sharp as I was expecting but I still managed to cut myself lol. They have held up pretty nicely since I got them and they are fun to play with ! though the katana is a bit too long for me, they are still fun to wear and display. Definitely recommend !
